The
16th Lancers Display Troop performs at events in the United Kingdom
and abroad. We provide period-accurate displays of weapons and horsemanship.
We also take part in parades, ceremonies, film and TV work, as well as promotional
and corporate events.
Most recently, we worked with Testimony Films on the production of "The Real War Horse" for Channel 4.
Our
WW1 displays include First Aid Nursing Yeomanry
and we can even provide a cavalry encampment and first aid station:
Spectators can ask questions, meet the horses and see the weaponry and equipment
used in the "war to end all wars".
Our aims are to entertain and educate, whilst honouring the memory of the men, women and animals of the First World War.
